Irritable Bowel Syndrome
It is a functional disorder of alimentary canal characterised by -
• Recurrent abdominal pain without any organic cause & relieved by defecation.
• Alternate diarrhea & constipation or either of them (going more or less often than normal).
• Associated with sense of urgency incomplete evacuation, abdominal blotting.
